When I traveled to Indonesia in July of 1999 the rupiah was trading at about 6700Rp=1USDollar. All of the US$ amounts provided below are calculated using that figure. However, before you plan any trips, take a look at the latest exchange rate for the Indonesian Rupiah. You can probably survive on less than $20 per day per person if you don't mind cheap places and cold showers (hey, they are refreshing!). Enjoy.
